Kyushu-Ryu Ju-Jitsu Clips
The following are some movies from seminars or classes. They do not represent a typical class as obviously in the martial arts things like concept practices and warm-ups are a vital part of any study.
Kyushu-Ryu is one of the most exciting martial art styles available. It's dynamic and full of energy and because Kyushu-Ryu is a non-tournament street oriented style, it's main focus is on technical perfection and realistic self-defence skills rather than tournament accolades. Our classes are Tuesday and Thursday nights.

On May 11, 2006 Master Frank Zinck was put through a grueling eight hour testing examination. Suffering from a sever bad back and unable to do any hip throws he was asked by Kancho Robyn Dionne to put on a 30 minute display for the kids and parents that attended the final ceremony. Here is a 10 minute compilation of pure magical ju-jitsu, both fascinating to watch and hilariously entertaining. Totally worth the 20 meg. download.

Kyushu Class Clips
This is an amazing demonstration from one of our youth Zack Arsenault and Sensei Frank Zinck. This was completely non-choreographed. Sensei Frank wanted to put Zack under some pressure as he was testing for his brown belt. I think you will agree it's very impressive.

Here's a neat technique that everyone seems to get a
charge out of. Everyone except maybe the Uke. This video clip was shot at
Sensei Josh Gluck's club in Windsor Ontario during a seminar in May, 2004.
From Windsor as well here is a classic beauty, a
shoulder lock with Uke's arm bend down. Doesn't get any sweeter than
this..... especially if you like pain.

Sorry this is slightly off kilter however it's funny to watch Sensei Frank
